The Wage Committee announced the increase of minimum wage for Thai nationals up to 328 – 354 Baht per day or 9,840 – 10,620 Baht per month depending on the provinces, effective October 1, 2022.
Minimum wage in Bangkok increased to 353 Baht per day (from 331 Baht) or 10,590 Baht per month (from 9,930 Baht). Thus, minimum Social Security contributions will increase to 1,060 Baht per employee and per month (i.e. 530 Baht paid by the employee and the employer).
